ALCESTER town centre is set to host today’s (Saturday, May 16) annual food festival, which will feature an array of tempting stalls selling a host of delectable delights.
More than 100 mouth-watering stands, including hot and cold street foods, drinks, cheeses, meats, jams, desserts and confectionery will be on offer for visitors to drool over.
Organiser Rowan Mackenzie said: “We are really looking forward to yet another amazing day packed with food and drink from around the world.
“The day offers so many things – amazing food, drink, produce, music and a school bake-off to encourage our next generation to reduce food waste.”
The town’s numerous cafes, pubs, and shops will also be throwing their doors open and getting into the festival spirit.
The free event runs from 9am to 5pm with a park and ride from Mill Industrial Park, King’s Coughton, B49 5QG on the A435.
A limited amount of accessible parking is available in Henley Street.
