A HOST of sports and social clubs got their skates on this weekend, making their way to Alcester’s War Memorial Town Hall and the Holly Bush function room.
The town’s Court Leet and Town Council extended an invitation to all local organisations to book out a slot during the market town’s Clubs and Societies Open Day.
A number of groups settled in for the event, which ran between 11am and 3pm on Saturday (February 27), and saw local clubs promote themselves and attract new members.
The aim of the event was to provide a one-stop-shop for Alcester residents to find out more about the activities available on their doorstep.
