AN ALCESTER musician is set to take the UK and America by storm as he prepares to release his debut single.
Sebastian Tree, who was born in Solihull but has lived in the market town for the last five years, has been snapped up by American-based PR company Slater Brothers Entertainment.
Sebastian, who describes his sound as similar to the Kings Of Leon and early Coldplay, will perform at Birmingham’s The Rainbow in Digbeth on February 7 before headlining a gog the city’s O2 Institute on April 8. Fallen Star, Sebastian’s debut track, will be released on February 12 and its music video – filmed in Alcester Town Hall – can be previewed on Sebastian’s website now.
And the local lad is set to make a splash across the pond too with the video for Fallen Star accepted as an official selection at SBE’s Hamilton (New York) International Film Festival, which runs in July.
A further single is set to be released in March before the whole EP is available in early April, coinciding with the O2 gig.
