VISITING restrictions have been put in place at the Alexandra Hospital in Redditch today to ‘allow extra cleaning work’.
Worcestershire Acute Hospital Trust health bosses say visiting will only be allowed ‘on compassionate grounds’ and need to be agreed in advance with staff.
The closure to visitors has been carried out to allow extra cleaning on a number of wards.
For queries about individual patients, people need to contact the relevant ward.
A WAHT spokesperson said: “We are sorry for any difficulty this causes.
“Normal visiting arrangements will resume as soon as possible.”
