ALCESTER and Stratford District Round Table have been in contact with Santa and are delighted to announce that he’s agreed for them to accompany him around Alcester, Bidford, Welford, Lower Quinton, Meon Vale and Studley this year.
However, the Tablers won’t be knocking on doors but volunteers will have collection buckets to receive any cash donations and to give out chocolates.
Listers Honda Stratford is again supplying the reindeer power of a car to pull the sleigh and with all their usual fundraising activities hit by the pandemic the Tablers are hoping Santa will raise as much as possible for great local causes.
The Tablers have set up an online donation page at https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/roundtablesanta2021 for people to donate.
The sleigh last year raised an amazing £6,750 which was distributed in January to Arden Foodbank (£1,500), Stratford-upon-Avon Foodbank (£1,750), Alcester & District Community First Responders (£1,000), Studley First Responders (£1,000), Springfield Mind (£1,000) and Alcester Town Football Club (£500).

After visiting Bidford, Welford and Meon Vale, the Tablers will arrive in Alcester on Tuesday, December 7, at 6.15pm covering Seggs Lane, Augustus Drive, Cross Road, Sherwell Drive, Roman Way, Hadrian’s Walk, Stratford Road, Corinthian Court, Gas House Lane, Chestnut Court, Evesham Street, Newport Drive, Birch Abbey, Boteler Close, Chantry Crescent, Willow Close, Bleachfield Street, and Flax Close.
