RESIDENTS can get on board to develop their online skills as the Google Digital Bus pulls into town.
Hosted by Redditch Borough Council to help customers access services online, the bus will be near the market, in Church Green East, on Friday June 1.
Whether visitors want to learn new skills to develop careers, build their own business or just grow confidence online, experts will be on hand to help.
Councillor Tom Baker-Price, whose portfolio covers education and skills, said: “We live in an increasingly digital age making it so important to have the skills to apply for a job, access council services and use the internet safely.
“As a council we are delighted to host the Google bus which will help people get online with confidence and develop their skills.”
The timetable for the day is:
10am-11am Stay safe online
12noon – 1.30pm First steps online
2.30pm – 3.30pm Build a CV
