A TEAM of surgeons, anaesthetists, nurses and Operating Department Practitioners from the theatres at the Alexandra Hospital in Redditch ran the Great Birmingham 10km Run in the heat last Sunday, May 6.
In the process the group raised more than £540 for the Acorns Children’s Hospice in Birmingham.
This is now the second year running the team have entered the event to raise funds for the local community.
The runners included Cindy Persad, Stacey Ferris, Lucy Young, Elma Wong, Rashida Bashir, Mikey Evans, Riah Shakespeare, Jennie Stokes and Keshav Mathur.
