RESIDENTS are invited to a ‘Great Get Together’ in the park organised by the Mayor of Redditch.
Councillor Juliet Brunner is hosting the event in memory of Jo Cox MP who was murdered two years ago.
As well as a picnic in the Arrow Valley Park, all the fun of the fair will be provided by Tommy Wilson who is supporting the event.
Redditch Mayor Coun Brunner said: “It’s always great to get together – after all, as Jo Cox MP said, we have more in common than what divides us.
“So I hope as many people as possible come along to this event to have fun, enjoy a picnic in our glorious park and, most of all, to get together.”
The Great Get Together will be held at Arrow Valley Park, near the children’s play area on Saturday, June 23 from 11am to 1pm.
