THIS Sunday it’s National Mills Day and to mark the big occasion as a result Forge Mill Needle Museum in Redditch is opening at a special reduced price.
People are invited to go on down and explore the Victorian mill whose role as a needle scouring location helped make the town famous across the world.
There will be the chance to see its famous water wheel in action and there’s also a guided tour at 2pm.
People can also visit the ruins of Bordesley Abbey or let the children have some fun in our adventure playground.
The day runs from 11am to 4pm and ticket prices, which include entrance to the museum, will be £2 for adults, free for children.
