BEACH on the Green arrived at the town centre today with Reddites flocking to enjoy some seaside fun.
And for those that missed out, the beach will remain outside Redditch Library this weekend and will be available to use between 10am and 5pm tomorrow and Sunday.
Parents will be able to watch their youngsters enjoy the beach from the comfort of a deck chair before moving to pose for photographs at the cut-out boards.
There will also be food available including burgers, curries and candy floss as well as music and stalls featuring local businesses and charities such as Friends of Isaac’s foodbank.
Beach on the Green was organised by Redditch BID alongside Reimagine Redditch and Batchley Support Group.
Reimagine Redditch Programme Director, Richard Bromhall said: “We’re excited to be part of creating a vibrant town centre and building a sense of community, which celebrates all cultures and creativity.
“Events like these are a great way to bring people together.”
