A GIRL Guide group from Alvechurch is taking part in a world record attempt to create the world’s longest superhero cape with children’s television show Blue Peter.
The 2nd Alvechurch Guide group is one of 100 girl guiding groups across the UK taking part in the challenge.
Predicted to measure a record-breaking 44 metres long, the cape will be unveiled live on Blue Peter on Thursday (November 12) to mark Children in Need.
