LOCAL garden enthusiasts are preparing to open their gardens to the public this year, in support of the National Garden Scheme.
The National Garden Scheme gives garden owners the opportunity to open their beautiful gardens to the public, whilst raising money for nursing charities across the country.
Alvechurch gardeners will be hosting their open garden event this weekend, on June 23-24 from 1 to 6pm.
Admissions will be £5 for adults, and free from children. tickets will be valid both days.
Alvechurch Gardens offers nine fabulous private gardens, each one unique. Tea will be available and plants will be for sale.
