Anti knife crime activist nominated for MP's Choice Award

ANTI knife crime activist Pete Martin has been nominated by Redditch MP for an MP’s Choice Award.

The winner will be invited to Parliament in March to receive the award and gave an opportunity to talk about there cause.

Rachel Maclean has nominated Pete for Constituency Champion of the Year.

She said: “This award is an opportunity to celebrate outstanding people in my constituency, and the contribution they have made through their hard work.

“I have nominated Pete in recognition of your work educating young people about the dangers of knife crime.

 




Pete added: “Just being nominated is a great honour and I am very grateful to be able to raise awareness of the great work the Redditch community has done to fight Knife crime.

“My target this year is to reach a target of 35,000 young people spoken to since our campaign began.”
