The man, in his 40s, was walking through Jubilee Court towards St Nicholas Primary School at around 11.30pm on Thursday (July 21) when he was approached by two unknown men who asked him a question.

The victim responded to the question and the men are reported to have assaulted him – causing facial and head injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening at this time.

As the victim attempted to walk away, the two men are understood to have chased him and threatened him before taking the contents of his rucksack, which included bank cards and headphones.

The second man is thought to be around five foot 10 inches, of slim build, with light coloured hair and was wearing all grey.

Enquiries are currently ongoing and Warwickshire Police is keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident, who was in the area at the time, or saw anyone acting suspiciously.

Anyone with information is asked to report it online, call 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 quoting incident number 428 of 21 July.
