AN APPLICATION has been submitted to turn a former pub in Redditch town centre into new homes.
The plans, submitted by HABDesigns, would see the conversion and extension of the Queens Head pub to 10 one-bedroom flats.
The Queens Head pub has been closed and left unused since August 2023 and has been up for sale since January 2024.
The development would be ‘car parking free’ and the location is within a walkable distance to essential amenities.
The applicant said the site would be a suitable location for residential homes by regenerating a derelict building and providing additional required homes in Redditch.
