REDDITCH-BASED Arcus has teamed up with Worcestershire County Council and St Augustine’s RC High School to provide pupils with a range of activities to help prepare them for the world of work.
These events over the next 12 months will include work experience placements, careers advice and CV workshops which will be aimed at providing the students with advice and skills they could take into their working lives.
The scheme supports the Government’s National Careers and Enterprise programme, which ensures young people are prepared for life after education.
Arcus’ head of business development Stephen Timmins said: “We feel it’s so important to equip young people with the relevant tools and advice to help them feel ready for the working world.”
Careers hub manager for the Worcestershire Local Enterprise Partnership Matt Tope added: “Enterprise advisers play a vital role in providing our younger generations with the most up-to-date careers guidance and support.”
