TWO car parks serving visitors to Arrow Valley Country Park will be closed for one day next week for essential maintenance works.
The car park off Battens Drive and the Arrow Countryside Car Park will be closed on Wednesday, June 28 from 7.30am until 5pm for essential maintenance works to be undertaken.
Access to Arrow Valley Health Club and their car park will remain open, but this may be restricted at times.
Visitors to the park are advised that other car parks will be unaffected during this time.
Councillor Pat Witherspoon, whose portfolio covers leisure services, said: “We apologise for any inconvenience caused by the closure of the car park but the completion of this essential maintenance will benefit the users of the park in the long term and will make the area better for our visitors to use and enjoy.”
