Art could be at the heart of the Inkberrow community

Redditch Editorial 23rd Sep, 2017   0

A CREATIVE woman is hoping to make her mark and get the people of Redditch interested in art again.

Fine Art graduate Becca Harris is kick-starting weekly creative workshops in Inkberrow in a bid to bring out the creative side of those in the area.

The 25 year old moved to the village in August. Now she hopes that the classes will be a good way to get to know the community and those who live nearby.

“Art is definitely my passion. It is such a wonderful and versatile subject. My workshops are aimed at anyone interested in art. No experience is required – even if you’ve never picked up a pencil or paintbrush before, you can create some brilliant pieces of work.” The workshops are every Monday and Tuesday at St Peter’s church hall, Inkberrow.

Sessions cost £12 which covers all materials, as well as refreshments.
