A NEW junior netball coaching programme kicked off this week at Tudor Grange Academy in Redditch.
The six-week programme, by AU Sports, is designed to introduce young netball enthusiasts to the fundamentals of the game, foster a love for sport and develop essential skills like teamwork, agility, and coordination.
The taster session attracted a turnout of 25 eager young players from across the borough, and lessons will be held every Wednesday from 6pm until 7pm.
Pete Alexander, founder at AU Sports, said: “It was truly inspiring to see so many young people eager to learn and play netball.
“Netball is experiencing a surge in popularity worldwide, and we’re committed to providing opportunities for young people in Redditch to get involved.
“Our structured sessions are designed to be both fun and effective, combining creative games with skill-building drills to ensure a positive and engaging experience for every child.”
