A THIEF walked out of a Studley supermarket carrying a 50inch TV without paying for it, went up to his car, put it in the back and drove off.
The incident happened on New Year’s Eve, December 31, at the store on Alcester Road at around 5.30pm.
Police say as he walked out of the shop he was aggressive to any staff who challenged him.
The thief is described as a white male, aged late 30s to early 40s, 5ft 10ins tall of medium to stocky build and wearing a flat cap, ‘donkey’ jacket and jeans.
He was driving a black Volkswagen Golf and headed off up the A435 towards Mappleborough Green.
Anyone who has any information on the theft is urged to ring police on 101 quoting the crime number December 0263 31/12/2016.
