AUTHOR Bali Rai autographed books and gave pupils top tips on how to improve their writing when he visited Birchensale Middle School recently.
Midlands-born Bali, who was at the school as part of the school’s World Book Day celebrations, told youngsters he aims to write accessible material for children of all ages to enjoy.
Laura Ridgewell, acting head of English said: “It is great that Bali still takes time to come and visit pupils at Birchensale. They really enjoy meeting published authors and have picked up some valuable tips from him.”
