AN award-winning photographer from Alvechurch has been granted membership to the exclusive ‘Photographer’s Bar’.
Snapper Antje Farmer was welcomed after the Guild of Photographers said her images showed an exceptional level of ‘professional skill’ and ‘consistency’.
The Guild is a highly respected association for all photographers and its competition attracts up to 1,500 images every month.
Each image is point-scored by a panel of expert judges.
Those with the highest points, counted up at the end of a calendar year, are awarded membership.
Antje, who specialises in children’s portraits, family sessions and newborn photography, said: “I am very honoured to have been made a member. “I am also very grateful to all the beautiful children who I have captured over the last year and I hope I have created fantastic pieces of art for their families.”
Guild director Lesley Thirsk said: “Submitting and having images assessed every month for a year is very demanding.
“I am delighted for Antje.”
