PEOPLE hoping to get back to work after having a family or a period out can get advice and support at a roadshow in Redditch.
It’s designed for anyone hoping to take their first steps back to work and will offer guidance around: Money advice, childcare options, building self-confidence, Job Centre support, digital support and CV writing.
There will also be the opportunity to receive a gift (limited availability) on a first come first served basis.
It’s on Monday, February 21 at Redditch Library, from 10.30am to midday.
Starting Well Partnership Bromsgrove and Redditch are working with Redditch Library and the Job Centre to bring the advisory event to parents hoping to get back into work.
Victoria Smith, community health connector, said: “Getting back into work after having a family or being out of work for some time can be challenging but there is a lot of help available.
“To support residents to take their first steps towards this, in a no pressure environment, we are pleased to be working with partners to join up all this information and help our residents in a simple, easily accessible way.”
For anyone who can’t make the Redditch event, a second one is being held at Rubery Library on Thursday, March 10, from 9.30am to 11am.
