A BATCHLEY car park and access road on one side of Lock Close will be temporarily closed between 8am and 4pm on Tuesday and Wednesday, November 22 and 23, to be resurfaced.
The old surfacing will be planed off before the new surface is put down.
Residents have been asked by Redditch Borough Council to remove their cars before 8am each day to avoid access issues.
The council has also warned cars left close by may suffer damage during the planing or become dusty during the work.
The area will be reopening overnight on both days.
Guy Revans, the council’s head of environmental services, said: “We apologise for any inconvenience caused and we hope to keep disruption to a minimum.
“The nature of this work means that closing the area is in the best interest of local residents to avoid any health and safety issues, as well as enabling our contractors to complete the work as quickly as possible during daylight hours.”
