SUMMER fun continues at the bandstand on Church Green this Saturday, August 12, with a host of free activities for children, writes Ramla Soni.
Fun things to do like face painting, learning circus skills, a bouncy castle, The Punch & Judy Show, The Music Man, Art Workshops & Community Stalls will all be available.
Also present will be The Batchley Support Groups Mobile Youth Tent where a Table Tennis Challenge will be held, plus there will also be a pool table.
The bandstand, with the nearby Bartleet Fountain, was built in 1883 and has always served as a focal point for the town and this summer there’s lots for people to enjoy.
The event is this Saturday, August 12 from 12noon till 4pm.
