ALCESTER residents are being urged to be aware of potential scam door knockers who are impersonating internet engineers.
The scammers are reported to be dressed in orange high visibility clothing and do not have a valid lanyard or ID.
Alcester SNT are reminding residents that representatives from a legitimate company would have their lanyard and ID available to see and would not conceal any information about where they are from and why they are in the area.
Companies usually call and alert SNT that representatives will be in the area on a certain date.
