THE rural crime co-ordinators at Stratford District Council are to be asked if they can help fund a mobile covert camera to catch poachers and fly tippers in and around Studley.
The issue was raised at a parish council meeting by Councillor Brian Dixon who voiced concern about the amount of deer poaching and hare coursing in the area.
“I would like to see the positioning of wildlife cameras in various places around the village and we may be able to get evidence not only of poaching but also the dumping of rubbish,” he said.
