THREE Redditch charities are £500 better off after receiving a donation from housebuilder McCarthy and Stone – the firm behind the Milward Place Retirement Living development on Clive Road.
The Oakland Foundation, Primrose Hospice and Charlotte and Craig Saving Hearts Foundation (CCSHF) will all benefit.
The donations will help the Oakland Foundation to support the educational and health needs of children in the area, Primrose Hospice to continue to offer care and advice to patience living with a life-limiting condition and CCSHF in its fund-raising efforts to buy more Community Public Access Defibrillators.
David Meachem, of McCarthy and Stone, said: “It was an absolute pleasure to present these donations.
“All of us here at McCarthy and Stone’s Milward Place development wish them every success with their work in helping to improve lives of everyone living in Redditch and its surrounding area.”
