STAFF at Redditch community project are delighted to be able to reach out to the Polish community in the town – thanks to almost £10,000 of lottery funding.
REACH CIC, which helps families in Redditch with everything from health and well-being and day-to–day family support to basic skills training and organising activities for children in school holidays, have been awarded £9,999 for their Building Families project.
The project which aims to provide help for local residents who are hard to reach and in potential crisis situations is being supported by the The Big Lottery funding and means that REACH are now able to employ a Polish family support worker to help liaise and work with the Polish community in Redditch – something that they believe will make a difference to the lives of many families.
Family support worker Rachel Ind said: “With immediate effect, we are now running drop-in sessions where members of the Polish community in Redditch will hopefully get in touch and find out what we can offer them.”
