A BLOOMING great Studley butcher’s shop has played its part in the village’s bloom competition.
John Williams Butchers on Alcester Road, raised £100 for the cause with a charity raffle with prizes included a free range turkey and meat hampers.
The money will go towards Studley in Bloom and will hopefully be used to help score the village’s fifth gold medal in a row, this year.
Ross Watkins, master butcher and shop manager, said: “We are really pleased to be giving this donation to a local cause such as Studley in Bloom.
“The people involved do a fantastic job in making the village look welcoming and well kept, and it was important to us to support them.”
