THE Conservatives have lost their deputy leader Gemma Monaco, in Batchley & Brockhill to Labour’s Joe Baker.
In a major blow to Tory leader Coun Matt Dormer, Gemma Monaco lost by some 160 votes.
Meanwhile the Conservatives have retained Crabbs Cross while Labour have retained their two seats in Greenlands.
In Crabbs Cross Salman Akbar swept to victory by more than 250 votes over Labour’s Monica Fry.
In Greenlands Labour retained their two seats through the newly elected Juma Begum and Joanna Kane.
