THIEVES have stolen a blue Jaguar XKR Coupe from outside a house in Lineholt Close Oakenshaw.
The theft happened in the early hours of this morning, Thursday, August 4, between half past midnight and 7.30am.
Police believe the vehicle, registration number N2 JRV, was taken after burglars climbed through a window, stole the spare key and then left via a back door.
A number of lines of enquiry are currently being followed by police in a bid to trace the vehicle but officers are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident, who was in the area or who saw anyone acting suspiciously at the time.
Anyone with information is asked to call West Mercia Police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 quoting incident number 90 of 3 August.
Elsewhere in Redditch, a thief stole a bank card from a coat pocket after entering a house in Bushley Close, Woodrow last Friday evening, July 28.
In Crumpfields Lane thieves broke into a barn and stole Hydraulic and JCB power packs, hand tools and saws in a crime reported on Wednesday, August 2.
Meanwhile officers have made an arrest after the front door was ‘taken out’ by offenders trying to get into a house in Fownhope Close, Winyates last Friday, July 28.
