Boogie Storm top the bill for grand Redditch Christmas lights switch on

THE annual Redditch town centre Christmas lights switch on takes place on Church Green this Saturday, November 25.

The free event runs from 2pm to 6pm and will feature an array of spectacular performances topped by Britain’s Got Talent finalists Boogie Storm.

Plus, there will be support from Free Radio with free giveaways and competitions.

Held in partnership with the Kingfisher Shopping Centre, Redditch Borough Council and the Town Centre Partnership the fun kicks off at 2pm with the Community Christmas Parade from the Town Hall into the Kingfisher, then over to Church Green.




At 2.45pm – Local charity group Betel will open the show in good voice singing Victorian carols.

At 3pm – On song local artist Stuart Woolfenden will take to the stage.


At 3.15pm – All girl singing group The Violettes will present their soulful covers of new songs and old classics.

At 3.30pm – The show will be joined by The Snow Queen and The Princess for a jam packed family fun performance.

At 4.15pm – The hugely popular, Britain’s Got Talent finalists – Boogie Storm will be on stage to show off their fantastic dance routine.

At 4.40pm – Father Christmas arrives to switch on the Redditch Town Centre lights.

At 5pm to 5.30pm – Just to top off the night, Boogie Storm will then be coming into the Kingfisher to do a meet and greet with fans.

And the music continues with a brass band who will be playing classic Christmas tunes until 5.45pm to round off a great day of celebration.
