A FASHION show to raise funds for breast cancer support group Bosom Friends has been hailed the most successful yet after raising £3,000 for the cause.
The cash was came in through ticket sales, raffles, donations, a silent auction and a live auction at the event and go to improving MRI breast screening services at the Alexandra Hospital.
All 24 models who took to the catwalk were either undergoing or had gone through breast cancer treatment.
The show, in a marquee at Barnt Green Cricket Club, was hosted by BBC Midlands Today presenter Joanne Malin and the dresses were from the village’s Continental Collection.
Joanne said: “As someone who had a breast lump checked out at the Alex recently, I was delighted to help raise money needed to help other women in North Worcestershire.
“I had a great time and was inspired by all the beautiful models.”
