RAISING a cuppa helped bring in more than £200 for service personnel, veterans and their families.
A charity event held on Saturday (October 11) at the Redditch branch of the Hereford and Worcester Army Cadets’ Force raised £206.65 for SSAFA.
Members of the Royal British Legion were among those who attended the event as well as Redditch Deputy Mayor Pattie Hill.
Staff Sergeant Instructor Ashley Enderby said: “I would personally like to extend a big thank you to everyone who attended and gave so generously. I hope this event was good for the community and look forward to doing it again next year.”
