Police hunting man and woman following Alcester burglary

POLICE are hunting a man and a woman following a burglary in Alcester on Friday (January 29) afternoon.

Officers were called to the scene, in Evesham Road, Weethley, at 1.23pm after the occupant of the property returned home to find an old, small blue car parked on the drive.

The driver, believed to be a white female with blonde hair, immediately drove off but upon entering the house, the occupier found a male inside.

He is described as white, around 5ft 8ins and in his late 30s.




He had a stocky build and was wearing blue jeans and a blue jumper with a baseball cap.

The man escaped on foot, running up the B4088 towards Redditch, while the car is thought to have been travelling through Cookhill in the direction of Inkberrow.


Anyone with information, or who may have seen the blue car and its occupants in Evesham Road, is urged to contact police on 101, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111, quoting incident number 0177 of January 29.
