Bus crashes into stationary taxi in Redditch bus station

A BUS was unable to stop, causing it to crash into a taxi, as it came from Station Road into Redditch bus station earlier today.

The reasons for the crash are currently unknown.

No one is believed to have been hurt, including Mohammed Ashfeq, who was in his taxi waiting to pick up passengers when the bus collided into the back of his car.

“I saw it coming around the corner at a dangerous speed.

“It hit the barrier first, then a pillar, before swinging around and hitting the back of my car.

“I’ve not reported the incident to the police yet.”

Redditch Standard Reporter Harry Leach saw glass everywhere at the scene.

A represnetive at the station said he had “no comment” about the accident at this time.
