Call for Studley businesses to dress their windows for Poppy Appeal

Redditch Editorial 2nd Nov, 2018   0

SHOPS and businesses in Studley are being urged to dress their window on a World War 1 or Poppy Day theme to mark Remembrance Sunday.

The local branch of the Royal British Legion has been busy writing to local firms asking them if they’d like to take part.

And as an added incentive a prize shield has been made to be awarded annually to the business with the best frontage.

To help business owners get started the branch’s poppy appeal organiser, Steve Noke, can supply a limited amount of decorative product.

To take part contact the local chairman of the RBL, Dave Smith on 07802 536085 or email [email protected]; secretary Phil Hunt on 07764 142762 or email [email protected] or Steve Noke on 07751 053421 or email [email protected]
