THIEVES took a VW Golf car after breaking into an Oakenshaw home and stealing the car keys.
The incident happened in Mitcheldean Close over last Friday night (June 14). The raiders also stole an amount of cash.
In Brook Street, Lakeside, a dashcam and iPod were stolen after a van was broken into at the weekend.
During last Saturday night (June 15), there were two reports of attempted break-ins in Larkfield Road, Greenlands, while in the early hours thieves broke into a house in Greenlands Avenue and stole car keys, using them to take a Vauxhall Corsa car off the driveway.
