OFFICERS in Redditch seized a car in the Brockhill area on Monday (January 12) for having no insurance, tax or MOT.
Police responded to reports from residents about the black VW Golf which was parked on Draycott Close.
The vehicle was registered as Statutory Off-Road Notification (SORN) which means that the owner doesn’t have to pay road tax or insurance, and it needs to be kept on private land.
The car was seized by PCSOs Hussain and Amphlett under DVLA powers and taken away by a recovery truck to a secure location.
The car will remain impounded until the owner can produce the correct documentation to retrieve it.
