AN ALCESTER care home hosted its own grand finale of the 2024 Olympic Games.
The residents and staff at Cherry Trees care home all enjoyed amazing foods, drinks, entertainment and company.
Debbie Osborne, Cherry Trees’ general manager, said: “It’s such a wonderful thing to get all our homes together under one roof.
“It’s always so lovely to see our residents socialising and having a good time.”
A Cherry Trees spokesperson thanked its 10 sister homes for all their hard work crafting the Olympic Rings and for coming along to enjoy the party with residents. They added: “Another huge thank you to Beccie Marshall and to Tom Riando for providing such fabulous entertainment.
“Cherry Trees feels so lucky to have Tom as one of their talented senior carers adding such a magical touch to the event. A fun day was had by all.”
