FOSTERLINE England is asking people from all backgrounds to step forward and consider becoming a foster carer after the number of applications plunged by one-third in 2016.
The fall of more than 5,400 applications inspired the #OneMoreHome campaign which begins next Monday (May 8) and everyone is encouraged to support and share the message and to contact the service if they feel inspired to become a foster carer.
More foster carers are desperately needed for sibling groups, teenagers, black and minority ethnic groups, those with disabilities and asylum-seeking children.
