CLASSIC carols, favourite hymns and a traditional telling of Christmas are all on the agenda at a special ‘Drive-In’ crib service in the Greig Centre car park in Alcester this Christmas Eve.
Everyone is welcome to the inter-active event, ideal for those who aren’t regular churchgoers, with lots of fun promised in the re-telling of the nativity story.
Organised by Minister Julie Lindsay and children and family worker Beth Clarke of Alcester Minster, people simply need to drive up to take part.
“There’s been a lot of anxiety this year and we hope that this way people will feel safe and secure,” said Beth.
Loud speakers will convey the music and the story will unfold on a large six metre screen.
The Greig Centre is in Kinwarton Road and people are asked to drive up at 4.15pm on Thursday, December 24 for the story to begin.
