Centre’s hospice tree remembers loved

Redditch Editorial 13th Dec, 2015 Updated: 18th Oct, 2016   0

THE PRIMROSE Hospice is lighting up the Kingfisher Centre’s Christmas tree in memory of lost loved ones as part of its annual Lights of Love campaign.

Participants can dedicate a light on the towering tree to someone who is no longer with them, in return for a donation to the hospice.

Each dedication message is printed in a remembrance book next to the tree in Worcester Square for loved ones to visit throughout the festive period.

As well as being an act of remembrance, Lights of Love is a celebration of life which last year raised more than £24,000 for the hospice which supports patients with life-limiting illnesses and requires £1.6million-a-year to offer its much-needed services for free.
