Charities' joy as Redditch Freemasons hand out £500 cheques to good causes

BIG hearted Redditch Freemasons continued their support for the local community last Sunday by handing out bumper cheques to local good causes.

The Freemasons raised the money in the course of the 2017/18 Masonic year making donations to 29 different charities totalling £14,225.

The final group of donations were made to seven charities each of whom received £500.

These were Redditch District Scouts, the Redditch Branch of Parkinsons UK, Redditch Association for the Blind, The League of Friends of the Alexandra Hospital, Indigo Arts, Redditch & Bromsgrove Sea Cadets, and Acts of Kindness which run the Redditch Food Bank.

The cheques were presented by the Provincial Grand Masters of Warwickshire and Worcestershire, Right Worshipful Bro’s David Macey and Robert Vaughan at the Masonic Hall in Easemore Road, followed by afternoon tea.

Redditch Freemasons welcome applications from any local charity. Contact RMCO, 21 Easemore Road, Redditch, B98 2EE.
