FREE tea, coffee and cake will be on offer to mark the reopening of the charity shop in the memorial hall between The Bridge Church and Headless Cross traffic lights.
The event, running over two days – Thursday and Friday, September 7/8 – from 10am to 1pm marks the successful completion of renovation work on the Evesham Road hall.
New toilets have been installed, a complete new floor laid and other major works finished with the aim of providing a first class facility for the people of Headless Cross.
The charity shop has also been re-stocked with plenty of bric-a-brac, quality clothes and bedding.
Staff member Diane Martin said all profits from the shop go to deserving causes, with past recipients including the flood appeal in the north of England, Redditch Nightstop and Macmillan Cancer Support.
She said nothing is thrown away either with items either sold or recycled.
