COMPUTER-aided-design (CAD) business Checkett Fletcher Ltd has moved from Dickens Heath in Solihull to new premises in Redditch.

The firm has purchased 2,869 sq ft of offices at 6 Regents Court, Far Moor Lane, for an undisclosed sum.

Checkett Fletcher Ltd (CFL-CAD), headed by directors Paul Checkett and Neil Fletcher, manages projects throughout the UK.

With a workforce of ten, the company works with building services partners across sectors such as education, healthcare, pharmaceutical, industrial and commercial.

Mr Fletcher said: “Paul and I have been involved in the CAD design business for nearly 20 years and after a lot of hard work, CFL-CAD is in its ninth year and going strong.

“We aim to be at the forefront of innovation, either by using the latest computer software to achieve the most complete and cost-effective CAD solutions or by enabling a reduction in project time due to our expertise and input.”

The firm has taken the first floor of the premises and has engaged local agents John Truslove, who facilitated their move, to find tenants for the ground floor.
