PUPILS at Pitcheroak School delved into the jungle last Friday when the entire school was transformed into a Safari scene.
Students and staff entered into the spirit of things and dressed up as explorers, crocodiles, lions, tigers and giraffes to explore the deepest, darkest rain forest in the whole of Redditch.
Pupils enjoyed a variety of activities including African drumming, sensory storytelling and animal talks from outside companies, as well as face painting, decoupage giraffe crafts, cake decorating and a jungle school photo booth.
A school spokesperson said: “We would like to say a huge thank you to all of the staff for supporting the day with such enthusiasm and helping to supply props for decorating the school.
“Also thank you to our students and their families for being so creative with the costumes. A brilliant day was had by all.”
