REDDITCH’S Rubicon Leisure is raising money for Sports Relief this coming Friday, March 13.
Staff at five of its venues will be dressed in sports gear and accessories to raise awareness and money for Sports Relief.
Sports Relief is a nationwide campaign and fundraising drive to support people living tough lives in the UK and around the world.
Its remit includes mental health, homelessness, domestic abuse and poverty.
“We are really pleased to support Sport Relief and all the good work that it does both in this country and abroad,” said a Rubicon Leisure spokesperson.
“Sport and activity are not only a vehicle to raise money and support good causes but also an opportunity to live healthier and happier lives.
“Activities that Rubicon Leisure offer at the Abbey Stadium, Palace Theatre, Forge Mill and Pitcheroak Golf Course all contribute towards healthier bodies and happier minds, reducing the burden on some of the charities that Sport Relief support.”
Collection buckets are at Forgemill Museum, Abbey Stadium, Pitcheroak Golf Course, Arrow Valley Visitor Centre and the Palace Theatre all this week.
