MORE than 50 people came out to enjoy Oversly Green’s 26th annual carol service last weekend – a community event that brings the whole village together.

Alongside mince pies, mulled wine and twinkling lights, the carolers enjoyed a host of jolly tunes accompanied by the Arrow Valley Brass Band.

A visit from Father Christmas was well received by youngsters whoa attended too, and most left with a festive glow on their cheeks.

Marking the 26th year of the community event in the hamlet, Oversley Green Residents Association Chairwoman Mary Nash remarked on how proud she was of residents and the support they showed for each other.
